A. Apa itu Adjective?

Adjective adalah kata sifat yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan atau memberi informasi lebih lanjut tentang kata benda (noun) atau kata ganti (pronoun).

Contoh:

• She is beautiful.

• We have a small house.

B. Fungsi Adjective

1. Menjelaskan sifat atau karakteristik
   → a kind teacher, a big dog

2. Menjelaskan jumlah
   → two students, many apples

3. Menjelaskan kepemilikan
   → my book, her pencil

4. Menjelaskan pertanyaan “What kind?”, “How many?”, “Which one?”

C. Jenis-Jenis Adjective

D. Letak Adjective dalam Kalimat

1. Sebelum kata benda
   → a beautiful girl, a red apple

2. Setelah to be (is, am, are, was, were)
   → The girl is beautiful.

3. Setelah kata kerja penghubung (linking verbs)
   → He seems tired.
